Lets just define some terms
Control Flow is the order in which a program is run.
Criteria or Criterion is the set of conditons on which something is judged
Conditional Statements are true or fasle statements that either meet or do not meet a set of criteria and different action is taken depending on whehter they are true or false.

A program is a series of steps to complete a task that a computer can understand
A Criteria or Criterion is a set of conditioons that are either met or not met which you can make a judgdement on.
Conditional Statements are true or fasle statements that either meet or do not meet a set of criterion.
Depending if the Conditions are true or false there is a different action.
